P.S.I. Ministry
When P.S.I. held its first open-mic, it made way for something unexpected. What seemed like simple words formed into poetry to express our feelings and share our testimonies, would open doors and our eyes to so much more. With each open-mic, God sent a poet that needed P.S.I. as much as it needed them. The words that were spoken through our poetry, songs and testimonies would do more than we ever imagined. Invitations to speak at various events and occasions started pouring in. We found that our words were not just ours any longer. They were touching and healing people everywhere we'd go. Thus, leading us into ministry as Life Speakers!
Life Speakers
Since PSI's beginning's one thing has remained a constant, our signature call and response of "Are you ready for a word?" and the audience responds "Speak Life!"
Our goal is to use our God given ability to speak life to others. We are given the opportunity to be the Master of Ceremony (MC) for many church events and programs. We use our poetic talents to speak at programs throughout the country. We speak at public schools to empower students for the future that’s ahead. We support other non-profit and charitable organizations for HIV/AIDS, MS (Multiple Sclerosis), American Cancer Society and many others. Our mission is to inspire the world through poetry, while continuing to reach success using the gifts, direction and the opportunities God gives us. We find no greater joy than to be used by the Master and serving in Kingdom Work. Some of us have abused the many gifts God has given us in past years. But we now love to celebrate the gifts by giving them back to Him and glorifying Jesus’ name. Speak life!!
